How are your wheels attached to the bike?

Hexlox protects any type of wheel attachment – ​​whether you have quick releases, thru axles or nuts.

Quick releases: These are thin axles (approx. 5 mm) with a small lever that can be easily opened and closed. Many regular bicycles have quick releases.

Thru axles: These are thicker (approx. 9–20 mm) and sometimes have a lever—but not always. Most eBikes and newer bikes have these axles.

Nuts: These wheels are secured with nuts that can only be loosened or tightened with a wrench. You often find them on fixed-gear bikes, single-speed bikes, or bikes with Shimano hubs.
