Description

Many high-quality bicycles use non-magnetic bolts made of aluminum, titanium, or stainless steel – materials that previously could not be secured with the Hexlox system.

The Hexlox Insert - for Non-Magnetic Bolts solves this problem:

  • A thin neodymium magnet is permanently attached inside the hex socket of the bolt.

  • Then, a 5 mm or 6 mm Hexlox can be inserted, which magnetically connects to the insert.

  • Access to the bolt is blocked – only your individual Hexlox key allows removal.

Whether it's a saddle, seat post, wheels, or other components – this insert allows you to effectively secure even non-magnetic bolts.

The system is weatherproof, durable, and nearly invisible – for maximum protection without added weight or noticeable locks.

  • 1 × Hexlox Insert - for Non-Magnetic Bolts  (incl. neodymium magnet)

  • Compatible with Hexlox Insert 5 mm or 6 mm (sold separately)

Selection guide & product advice

  1. Determine the size of your bolt using a hex key:

    • If a 5 mm hex key fits, you need a Hexlox Insert 5 mm.

    • If a 6 mm hex key fits, choose a Hexlox Insert 6 mm.

  2. Check if your bolt is magnetic:

    • If a magnet doesn't stick, the bolt is non-magnetic – the Hexlox insert is required.

Note: Currently, there is no solution for 4 mm bolts made of non-magnetic materials. In this case, we recommend replacing it with a magnetic steel bolt.

Es gibt kein einziges Schloss auf der Welt, das zu 100 % sicher ist – nicht gegen einen Dieb, der genug Zeit, Motivation und die richtigen Werkzeuge hat. Die meisten Diebstähle von Fahrradteilen passieren jedoch spontan. Hexlox ist ein Anti-Diebstahl-System, das speziell für Fahrradteile gemacht ist – Laufräder, Sattelstützen, Sättel und andere Teile, die mit Standard-Inbusschrauben befestigt sind. Unsere Lösung ist simpel, aber effektiv: ein kleiner magnetischer Einsatz, der den Zugang zur Schraube blockiert. Ohne passenden Schlüssel kommt man da kaum ran. Wir empfehlen immer, Hexlox mit einem soliden Rahmenschloss zu kombinieren und das Fahrrad an etwas Festem wie einer Laterne oder einem Fahrradständer zu sichern. Sicherheit funktioniert in Schichten – eine einzige Lösung reicht da nie aus.
