Description

Our Hexlox-compatible axles and spare parts were specially developed for cyclists who want to close even the last remaining security gaps on their bikes. Many standard bike axles are made of non-magnetic material or protrude so far that they can be easily removed with pliers. Our solution: bolts made of high-strength 10.9 steel – magnetic, durable, and perfectly matched to the Hexlox system.

For particularly vulnerable areas, we offer security bolts with a lens head (round/spherical): They prevent access with tools such as pliers or grip pliers, as these simply slip off the round shape.

Question: What should I do if my bolt is not magnetic?
Answer: Replace it with our magnetic DIN bolt made of 10.9 steel which is Hexlox compatible.

Question: What is a pan head bolt and what is it used for?
Answer: Pan heads (also called dome, lens or round heads) make it difficult to grip with pliers – ideal for exposed screws, e.g. on hubs.

Question: How do I measure my bolt correctly?
Answer: Measure the diameter of the thread (e.g. M5 = 5 mm) and the length - without the head.

Question: How secure are the bolts with Hexlox?
Answer:In combination with a suitable Hexlox insert and key, they offer effective protection against spontaneous theft attempts.

Question: What is a cone safety nut?
Answer: This is a specially shaped nut with a conical outer shape and a serrated underside – pliers slip off and it can't be easily unscrewed. Ideal for securing axles or permanently mounted parts.
