Insert the Hexlox Insert with the appropriate Hexlox key into any magnetic (steel) screw you want to secure on your bike. This significantly increases theft protection.

The Hexlox insert is a small stainless steel insert that fits into almost all magnetic (steel) hexagon socket screws. It is available in sizes 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm. Together with the Hexlox key, it forms a secure mechanical locking mechanism – but only if both have the same three-digit code.

Important: To protect your bicycle parts, you need both the matching Hexlox insert and the corresponding Hexlox key with the identical key code.

To determine the correct size Hexlox Insert just use a normal hex wrench/Allen key,

  • If a 5 mm Allen key fits you need a Hexlox Insert 5 mm 
  • If a 6 mm Allen key fits you need a Hexlox Insert 6 mm etc
