Most Saddles on modern bikes are fastened with one, or two hex bolts. A hex bolt is fastened with a 6-sided (hexagonal) tool - hex wrench/Allen key.
Does your seat post clamp tighten with a hex bolt? A hex bolt is fastened with a 6-sided (hexagonal) tool - hex wrench/Allen key.
Does your seat post clamp tighten with a quick release lever?
Is your seat post clamp integrated into the bike frame?
Guts clamps are usually found on older, vintage bikes, rarely on more modern bikes.
